Configure, setup, and manage
everything from onsite Exchange email servers to print and terminal
servers. Build Domain controllers, create networks and domain forest.
Setup and configure HP Pro Curve switches and Juniper firewalls to allow
proper access and network communication with other networks at different
locations though VPN. §
Configure POS networks for PCI
compliancy by segmenting the networks. §
Troubleshoot network connectivity
issues and performance issues. §
Remove major network and
workstation virus threats. §
Setup and maintained Exchange, SQL
database, and file backups. Use Vault Logic and Packrat to configure, setup,
and restore backups. Check backup reports and backup logs daily for
successful backups or failed backups. Resolved issues with failed or error
backups. §
Install and configure Script Logic
to push out standard PC profile configurations. I would use Script Logic to
push out Group Policies, IE settings trusted sites, map network drives,
printers, and desktop shortcuts. §
Server NT, 2003 upgrades to Server
2008 and 2012. OS upgrades from XP to Windows 7 and 8. §
Implemented, managed, and
supported Exchange Server 2003, 07, and 08 Migrations to Office 365 for over
5000 users across the country. §
Expert project management skills.
Setup and coordinate projects across the country with major vendors in the
Hospitality area. Most projects I would arrive onsite to manage. Always
worked and coordinated with the VP and Director of Technology. Discussing plains
and procedures to be executed. Projects were with Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton,
Hyatt, Renaissance, and B Ocean hotel chains. Coordinate projects with
vendors such as Microsoft, Micros, AT&T, Hilton, HSI, Dell, IBM, Xeta,
Dish Network, Comcast, and many other vendors connected with hotel
technology. §
IT Manger for several major hotels
in the Washington DC area. Doubletree Bethesda, Hilton Gaithersburg,

users, and over 300 different networks. Everything from switch management to
setting up firewalls. Created Exchange email and Terminal Servers. I
would also manage email spam filter Black list and White list through App
River. §
Build networks from creating
domain controllers and adding users in Active Directory. Setup printer
servers, IIS, and other roles and features. §
Project Manager where I
coordinated with several vendors on a daily basis to get projects organized
and completed. I would oversee each project through to completion across the
country. Especially the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area. Setup Hilton
Hardware refresh, PMS and POS server upgrades and replacements. Arrange for
Telecom phone service support. HSIA circuit installations, upgrades and
cutovers. Managed major Hilton ASA Firewall upgrade and replacement project
for over 15 Hilton properties across the country. Including turn up and
testing of circuits. Provided Hilton with the configurations for each hotel’s
firewall. I would travel across the US two or three weeks out of a month.
Meeting with different vendors and managing projects for both new installs
and system upgrades. §
Provide end user Help Desk support
for PC, laptops, and servers. Lead Support Engineer for 5000 users.
Repaired Laptops, Desktops, and Servers. Fly out onsite for hotel emergency support,
network outages, and network upgrades. Network AdministratorJanuary 2001 – October 2004 Solectron I supported a laptop repair facility. Network consisted of around 500
users. This included printer setup rights and access for users in Active Directory.
I would also repair laptops for Dell, IBM, and Toshiba. §
Supervisor for over 20 techs. Made
sure they were aware of and met both group and individual goals daily. §
Troubleshoot and replace parts on
laptops. §
Made sure users had network access
and proper application access on a daily basis. §
Modified, created, and maintained
SQL databases. Setup backup schedules for SQL and data. Electrical Engineer OSP Facility Design SpecialistNov 1999 – January
2001 Parsons Telecommunications Designed OSP (Outside Plant) cable & carrier facilities for
AT&T. I provided detailed designs in CAD in order for contractors to
properly execute jobs. Jobs included pole moves, fiber runs, cell tower
